Double post day! Yay! Now we’re back on track with the final six posts.
Today was my final day of work. It’s exciting to have two weeks off. I leave Korea the second week of January, so I’m going to pack one item a day to save me last minute packing stuff. I’m not good at math, but I can’t imagine I have more than fifteen things.
Anyway, yesterday was the Christmas party at my school. And I know children are only half as cute when you don’t personally know them, but too bad. Here’s a few of them:
Now what makes the next two pictures so amazing is not that I’m in it. No, these pictures were taken by kindergarteners, specifically the kids in the previous two photos. I don’t know how good American six year olds are, but Korean six year olds are definitely masters of technology. Their cell phones are better than any I’ve ever had. They can open, play, and pause videos on the computer. And they take really great photos with my digital camera.
You see? They don’t cut off my head, they keep the action centered, and the lighting came out perfectly. All I’m saying is that I’ve been given professional training in photography during my news reporter days and only half of the photos I took yesterday came out okay.
I don’t understand the intelligence of children. I’ve corrected one of my six year olds every single freaking day I’ve had class with him and he still calls me James. Yet hand him a state of the art digital camera and he begins switching settings to reduce the shadows in the room when the flash goes off.

Hey, James,
When are you coming home?
Love,
